1. What is G-Link?
G-Link is a high-quality Internet telephony product, services and infrastructure for worldwide users. It includes broadband phone service from Lemon Giga System(LGS) which uses broadband phone solutions include SIPphone (Session Initiation Protocol), USB phone and soft phone. G-Link account can be used as international calling card accounts that allow you use ANY time, ANY where around the world. Calls made from one G-Link account to another are totally free. With SIP Phone, customers can place and receive calls while talking through a regular telephone set. With a portable Direct Inward Dial (DID) phone number, customers are not bound by location. They can take their phone anywhere in the world, and have it ring whenever they are connected to a broadband Internet connection.

2. How does this work?
Through an analog phone attached to an Analog Telephone Adaptor (ATA) or the SIP Phone, G-Link allows you to make telephone calls using a computer network , over a data network like the internet that can be connected to any broadband, anywhere in the world. To subscribe this service, a subscriber must FIRST purchase a certified ATA device from any of the LGS authorized resellers or service center. (YES, it can be used anywhere in the world so long as the customer has router, broadband connectivity and the ATA box purchased under G-Link package)

3. Is there any specific router brands for this new service?
Any brand of routers can be used.

4. What is the benefit of subscribing to this product?
i. FREE calls between G-Link SIP networks.
ii. No roaming charges.
iii. Call savings on STD / IDD / Mobile calls.
iv. Compatible with any broadband service.
v. Easy to setup and user friendly.
vi. 1 year warranty on ATA Box.

5. How would I be billed?
It is a prepaid service. There will be no bills. If you requires call details, you can log on to LGS web page available at www.lgs.net.my.

6. What happen if my ATA or SIP phone is stolen?
The customer must inform LGS immediately for suspension of their account by calling our Customer Service representative at 03-56368823.

7. What about the warranty of ATA or SIP phone?
The ATA has a 1 year warranty and every ATA comes with terms and conditions together with the ATA users' instruction in the product packaging.

8. Where do I go whenever I experience a faulty ATA or SIP phone?
Customer need to go back to any one of the LGS service center.

9. How do I sign-up for this product?
Please come to any of our authorized service center to purchase the ATA.

10. Can I subscribe to G-Link service if I have broadband access from another provider?
Yes, you can subscribe the service as long as you have broadband connection.

11. Can I receive call?
Yes. Depending on the package. LGS do offer a virtual number that is associated to your SIP account and incoming calls from other network (Telekom, Maxis) can be received.

12. How do they call me?
It's easy. Just state clear calling instruction (for on-net to on-net, just call the sip number assigned to each ATA)

13. What kind of broadband speed do I need?
You will need a broadband connection with minimum 64kbps.

14. What are the features included in this services?
Call waiting, Call forwarding, Caller ID, Voicemail and Do Not Disturb (DND)and or virtual number are amongst some of the features available. More features will be made added in the future.

15. Does this service come with user menu?
The User guidelines on how to use the G-Link ATA would comes in user menu. It is included inside the G-Link product packaging.

16. Can I use my computer while I talk on the phone?
Yes, you can use your computer while making a call. Your computer and your call will work as usual. As this service allows for simultaneous data and voice transmission.

17. Can I take my phone ATA with me when I travel ?
You may be able to use the service wherever you travel as long high speed broadband connection available.

18. What are the applicable rates?
If you call among the G-Link subscriber, you will not be charged. But if you place a call to PSTN or Mobile user, you will be charged a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) discounted call rate starting from RM0.10 per minute.

19. How do I top-up my G-Link airtime?
To top-up your G-Link airtime, simply purchase any G-Link prepaid reload from any of the G-Link service center, resellers, dealers and agents or any counters available nationwide.

21. Do LGS ATA support firewall and proxy?
Yes. Most of our ATA models are able to bypass firewall and proxy servers,
making it one of the most sophisticated ATA in the market now.

21. What is SIP phone?
SIP Phone is a device that transports voice using data packets instead of circuit-switched connections over IP networks. SIP Phones are similar to the existing analog phone. The main different is the SIP phone is using RJ-45 port and meanwhile analog phone (conventional telephone) is using RJ-11 port.

22. What is Soft phone?
Soft phone is a client-side software that turns a desktop PC into an IP-based phone and similar to IP Phone.

23. What is ATA?
ATA stand for Analog Telephone Adaptor. ATA is a small box that connects your voice from an analog signal to digital signal. To use ATA, you must have an analog phone which is will be connected to your ATA.
