Basic Requirements for TM Net Streamyx Service Subscription

A valid and active Telekom Malaysia Direct fixed-line customer with DSL availability ( Please check with Telekom Malaysia on availability ) (TM Net Streamyx does not support CDMA, ISDN, keyphones, PABX and hunting lines). The line must be connected the premise to the TM Net Streamyx exchange where DSL is available. If you do not have a direct fixed line, you will need to apply and install one to subscribe to the service.
Customer premise location must be within 5 km radius from the supporting TM Net Streamyx exchange.
Telephone lines served via fibre connections are supported and available at limited areas only.
The applicant of TM Net Streamyx service must be the owner of the telephone line. If the applicant is not the owner, a written consent must be obtained from the authorized owner.

For Windows OS Computers:

Pentium 233 processor or equivalent
Windows 98 SE and above
32 MB RAM
Network Interface Card (NIC)

To check for network Interface Card (NIC) in your PC, you can either go to Control Panel or look at the ports on your computer. You can purchase the network card at any computer shop or call our service contractor.

For Mac OS Computers:

Power PC Macintosh with system 7.6.1 or later
32 MB RAM
10 MB free hard disk capacity
Ethernet port
Mac OS X version 10.1.2 above only
